BEIJING, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- A former official of the welfare lottery distribution and management center under the Ministry of Civil Affairs is being investigated for suspected serious violations of disciplinary rules and laws, according to a statement released on Wednesday by the discipline inspection team stationed at the ministry. Wang Suying, the center's former director, is being investigated by discipline inspection and supervisory authorities, said the statement.
