Airstrikes kill 5 IS militants in E. Afghanistan

ASSADABAD, Afghanistan, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Five militants affiliated to the hardliner Islamic State (IS) group were killed as fighting aircrafts targeted the insurgents' hideout in the eastern Kunar province on Friday, an official of the Afghan National Army (ANA) Brigadier Mir Wais Safi said.
