SAO PAULO, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Colombian striker Miguel Borja struck his ninth goal of the Copa Libertadores season as Palmeiras advanced to the semifinals with a 2-0 victory over Colo-Colo on Wednesday.

The result at Allianz Parque handed Luiz Felipe Scolari's men a 4-0 aggregate victory after they also won the first leg in Chile 2-0.

Winger Dudu opened the scoring here with a whistling 25-yard strike with his left foot after a mazy run. He then drew the foul that led referee Wilmar Roldan to award the hosts a 53rd-minute penalty, which Borja duly converted.

Palmeiras, who have never won the Copa Libertadores, will meet either Cruzeiro or Boca Juniors in the semifinals of South American football's top club competition.

The other semifinal will be played between defending champions Gremio and River Plate.
