NAIROBI, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Kenya's major media outlets on Tuesday.

-- More than 200 schools are under investigation over plans to cheat in the national examinations, which begin next week, Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed said Monday.

Also under probe is a teacher said to have collected 90,000 shillings (about 900 U.S. dollars) from students as payment for examination materials.

She said the government will go for the assets of suspects involved in selling fake examination papers. (Daily Nation)
