BEIJING, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended mixed in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.1 percent to finish at 2,548.88 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.24 percent to end at 7,281.56 points at midday.
