BEIJING, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Liu He met with Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam here Thursday, and they expressed willingness to advance bilateral ties and cooperation.

Liu said China and Singapore enjoy a sound development momentum of bilateral relations, with frequent high-level exchanges and fruitful cooperation in various fields.

"China stands ready to work with the Singaporean side in advancing bilateral relations to a higher level," Liu added.

China and Singapore enjoy an all-round cooperative partnership progressing with the times.

The Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister said Singapore is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in infrastructure, finance and other sectors, so as to promote economic prosperity of the two countries as well as the region.
