Hosted by the Chinese People's Armed Police Force (PAP), it aims to build a platform for exchanges and display, enabling counter-terrorism forces from various countries to learn from each other, progress together and strengthen their friendship.

The competition also aims to further enhance capacity building for counter-terrorism operations and continuously improve the professional qualities of snipers as well as their real combat capacity.

Focusing on the characteristics of counter-terrorism operation, the competition consists of four categories: challenge sniping, individual sniping, team sniping, and comprehensive combat sniping.

There are a total of 12 events, including lurk sniping, duel sniping, valuable target selecting sniping and long-distance searching sniping. Different events are conducted in different places simultaneously.
