CHICAGO, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures settled mixed on Friday with wheat rising moderately after losses in the past three days.

The most active December wheat was up 1.75 cents, or 0.34 percent to close at 5.1475 U.S. dollars per bushel. December corn was down 3.75 cents, or 1.01 percent to settle at 3.67 dollars, while November soybeans were down 6.75 cents, or 0.78 percent to close at 8.5675 dollars per bushel.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Thursday released its weekly export sales report for the period of October 5-11, showing corn and soybean exports were well below trade estimates, with only wheat export sales being satisfactory.

CBOT wheat edged up on Friday, while EU wheat futures were similarly strong.

Corn and soybeans continued their downtrends following the less-than-expected export data. It was also the fourth day in a row that corn futures suffered losses. Enditem
