Xi makes instruction on work of Party committees' general offices

BEIJING, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has called on general offices of Party committees at all levels to resolutely safeguard the authority of the CPC Central Committee and its centralized, unified leadership.

Xi, also Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks in an instruction to a national meeting of secretary-generals of Party committees, held on Friday and Saturday in Beijing.
