TAIPEI, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- A passenger train derailed in northeast Taiwan on Sunday afternoon, with casualties yet to be confirmed, according to the island's railway authority.
The Puyuma Express No. 6432 bound for Taitung from Shulin derailed at 4:50 p.m. Sunday local time in Yilan County. Some passengers were reportedly hurt during the accident.
