LONDON, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- China's Zhou Lijun was stopped in the final of women's -57kg event by double Olympic champion Jade Jones at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Manchester on Sunday.

Jones, who won the event at London and Rio Olympic Games, proved too strong for the Chinese youngster, leading 7-1 after the first round before taking the gold 11-4.

"At the start of the day I was in tears because I was so nervous as everyone expects you to win," Jones told BBC Sport.

"But with the crowd screaming for you it was impossible not to go for it."

It was China's fourth medal after three days' competition. Olympic champion Zheng Shuyin won the only gold medal for China after beating home-grown hero and pre-tournament favourite Bianca Walkden of Britain in the women's over 67kg category on Saturday. Her teammate Gao Pan took a bronze in the event.

Sun Hongyi won the first medal for China as he finished third in the men's over 80kg event on Friday.
