Dollar trades around mid-112 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands around the mid-112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels in New York from late last week.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.45-46 yen compared with 112.49-59 yen in New York and 112.43-44 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1511-1511 dollars and 129.44-48 yen against 1.1510-1520 dollars and 129.53-63 yen in New York and 1.1446-1448 dollars and 128.69-73 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
