JAKARTA, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's U-19 football team is looking to stifle Japan's powerful attacking play ahead of their quarterfinal clash at the 2018 AFC U-19 Championship 2018 on Sunday.

"We have obtained all the information about the Japanese team and have already prepared a game plan. We will focus on Sunday's match and anticipate everything that may occur," Indonesia head coach Indra Safrie revealed here on Friday.

Safrie added that his players would be aware of the entire Japanese team, rather than focusing on one or two individuals.

Meanwhile, Japan coach Masanaga Kageyama admitted that Indonesia would represent tough opposition for his side.

"During the games against Qatar and the UAE, they were playing with a strong spirit," Kageyama said.

Indonesia beat the UAE 1-0 on Thursday evening after a close but thrilling 6-5 defeat to Qatar.

"It is important for us to defeat Indonesia," Kageyama said.

The match will be played at the Gelora Bung Karno Sport Stadium in Jakarta on Sunday evening.
