NEW YORK, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 93km SW of Acajutla, El Salvador at 22:23:54 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 24.69 km, was initially determined to be at 12.9489 degrees north latitude and 90.3848 degrees west longitude.
