BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Xichang in southwest China's Sichuan Province at 4:29 p.m. Wednesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 19 km, was monitored at 27.7 degrees north latitude and 102.08 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
