LONDON, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 1.31 percent, or 92.25 points, to close at 7,128.10 points.
NMC Health, a private healthcare services provider, soared 5.24 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Glencore and Ashtead Group increased by 4.73 percent and 4.23 percent respectively.
