BEIRUT, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Israeli forces inspected on Friday the military road between Ghajar and Wadi Al 'Asal passing through Abbassieh in south Lebanon, local media reported.

"Israeli forces stopped from time to time along the wired fence to inspect surveillance equipment and video cameras in the area," according to Elnashra, an online independent newspaper.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese army and the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) toured the area close to the fence to inspect the situation.

This is not the first time that Israeli forces inspect the borders with Lebanon.

Israeli forces have been inspecting surveillance equipment regularly on the borders with Lebanon.

On Oct. 15, an Israeli drone destroyed one of Israel's spying devices in southern Lebanon.
