FRANKFURT, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 50.45 points, or 0.44 percent, to close at 11,518.99 points.
German airlines Lufthansa won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.37 percent. Chemical group BASF and material manufacturer Covestro rose both by 2.11 percent.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 6.39 percent. European health care company Fresenius SE and renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical went down by 2.72 percent and 2.12 percent respectively.
Automotive manufacturer Volkswagen was the most-traded share with a turnover of 447.36 million euros (510.75 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
