PARIS, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Monaco continued to search for their first win under Thierry Henry's charge following a 1-0 loss at Reims in the 12th round match of Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Since taking charge of Monaco last month, the 41-year-old former France star has been winless in four matches in both domestic league and Champions League.

Mathieu Cafaro scored the winner for Reims in the 24th minute, as he collected a superb pass by Xavier Chavalerin on the left flank before beating goalkeeper Diego Benaglio into the far corner.

Both sides were reduced to 10 men later on. Reims' Alaixys Romao was shown a red card for a tough challenge on Youssef Ait Bennasser, while Monaco saw second-half substitute Pele sent off after receiving his second yellow card in the 71st minute.

Monaco, the Ligue 1 champion in 2017, are undergoing a 14-match winless streak in all competitions dating back to their first round victory in the league.

Monaco sit second-bottom on the table following their seventh league defeat, just ahead of Guingamp on goal difference, but Guingamp have one more match in hand.

Nabil Fekir's return from an ankle injury after almost one month was huge boost for Lyon, and his cross was met by Hossem Aouar through the volley for the opening goal just before the interval.

In the second half, however, the hosts failed to maintain their advantage over Bordeaux, who pulled back through Andreas Cornelius' goal in the 73rd minute to set the score 1-1.

Also on Saturday, Caen lost to Rennes 2-1, Dijon were tamed by Nimes 4-0, Nice edged Amiens 1-0, and Strasbourg tied Toulouse 1-1.

Runaway leaders Paris Saint-Germain overcame second-placed Lille 2-1, registering their 12th consecutive league victory into the season, the best ever start in top five European leagues.
