TEHRAN, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- A total of 40 Iranian construction companies will do business at the biggest industrial park of Oman, Eghtesdonline daily reported Monday.
A day earlier, the Iranian Embassy signed a contract with the Omani government, which will allow specialized Iranian construction firms to offer and sell their products in Oman, according to the report.
"Due to good level of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman, and many shared values, cultural proximity, geographical adjacency and ever-increasing economic and trade ties in the past two years, we consider this contract a good opportunity for Iranian construction companies to participate in the Omani market," Iranian Ambassador to Oman Mohammad Reza Nouri Shahroudi was quoted as saying.
Sandan, Oman's biggest industrial park, is expected to open in early 2019.
