Mongolia's fighter becomes champion of Dragon House MMA

ULAN BATOR, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Mongolian athlete Nergui Otgonbaatar became the champion of the Dragon House Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) facility in San Francisco, local media reported on Monday, citing the Mongolian National Police Agency.

The 31-year-old fighter beat Igor Pontes from Brazil in the final of 70kg weight category of Dragon House MMA 30.

Otgonbaatar, police captain, has been working for a decade in the Mongolian police.

Dragon House MMA is a martial arts institute founded in 1996 by Grand Master Zhong Luo.
