Abu Dhabi crown prince, British foreign secretary discuss bilateral ties

DUBAI, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi, and Jeremy Hunt, visiting British foreign secretary, discussed bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Britain on Monday, state-run Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

During the meeting, the two sides talked about ways to strengthen cooperation in all fields to benefit their peoples, according to the WAM.

They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Sheikh Mohamed said that Hunt's visit would further contribute to boosting cooperation between the UAE and Britain.

According to Hunt, the two countries' ties have been progressed. He also praised the status gained by the UAE in regional and international arenas and their achievements in various fields.
