China's industrial output up 5.9 pct in October

BEIJING, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- China's value-added industrial output, an important economic indicator, expanded 5.9 percent year on year in October, the National Bureau of Statistics said Wednesday.

The growth rate was 0.1 percentage point faster than that recorded in September.
