CBOT soybean futures rise amid winter storm forecast

CHICAGO, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities traded higher on Thursday morning, with soybean futures rising over 10 cents.

The most active December corn was up 2.25 cent at 3.6925 U.S. dollars per bushel as of 1530 GMT, December wheat was 5 cents higher at 5.08 dollars, 2019 January soybean was up 10.25 cents at 8.9375 dollars.

As for weather forecast for agricultural crop, winter weather is hammering parts of the eastern half of the U.S. including several areas in the Midwest area. Two thirds of South Illinois are facing winter storms and ice warnings this morning, according to the National Weather Service. Enditem
