BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- More than 71 percent of respondents prefer virtual reality (VR) or 3D enabled exhibitions, as they feel more involved, according to a survey released by China Youth Daily Tuesday.

Of 1,980 surveyed, nearly 62 percent said that sense of participation and design for interactivity was the most attractive part of such exhibitions, followed by engagement of multiple senses, interest and understanding.

Some 78 percent said they expected high-quality exhibitions by using such technologies. Over 55 percent said the current VR or 3D enabled exhibitions were more in name than in reality, and over 54 percent said they were short of innovation.

Of those surveyed, people born between 1980 and 1990 accounted for 53.6 percent and those born between 1990 and 2000 took up 28.8 percent.
