BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- With 6 players scoring more than 10 points, Xinjiang snatched a tough victory over, while Wang Zhelin's career-high 41 points helped Fujian trounce Shanxi.

Both teams ended their 2-game losing streaks on Tuesday's 14th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league.

Xinjiang had a good start leading 10-0, which only to be erased soon by the regular season champions with a 18-8 run. Both teams fought basket-for-basket for the rest of the first half, but Xinjiang obviously had more offensive firepower as all five starters scored including Darius Adams and Abudushalamu contributing more than 10. The visitors kept a minor lead 51-50 at halftime.

The gap didn't widen further until the last five minutes of the third quarter when Xinjiang forced the hosts into several turnovers which were turned into fast break points. The visitors lost their double-digit advantage at the beginning of the fourth quarter due to Courtney Fortson's outbreak. However, with a 9-0 run, Xinjiang managed to hold off the late comeback attempts by Guangsha to pick up a victory of 106-103.

Liaoning didn't have an easy night in Shenzhen either. The total 55 fouls in 48 minutes witnessed an exhausting game for both sides. The defending champions, who trailed for most of the game, finally edged Shenzhen 99-96.

Wang Zhelin had a splendid performance with a career-high 41 points including 2 dunks. He also added 17 rebounds and 2 blocks to ensure Fujian's victory over Shanxi 131-118.

Elsewhere, Guangdong cruised past Sichuan 121-104, leading the way with a perfect record of 14 wins against no loss. Jiangsu overcame Aolong 100-95, Tongxi edged Zhejiang 118-116, and Shanghai won over Tianjin 118-115. Enditem
