LONDON, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 1.20 percent, or 83.14 points, to close at 7,036.00 points.
Wood Group (John), an international energy services company, soared 7.62 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Vodafone Group and Fresnillo increased by 6.25 percent and 4.21 percent respectively.
Just Eat, an online food order and delivery service, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.52 percent. Royal Mail, a postal service and courier company, dropped 2.09 percent. Paddy Power Betfair, a sports betting and gaming company, fell 2.09 percent. Enditem
