Spanish stock market drops 1.28 pct Tuesday

MADRID, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares lost on Tuesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 1.28 percent, or 117.90 points, to a total of 9,061.70 points.

A total of 27 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.

Supermarket chain DIA lost 6.64 percent, followed by stainless steel manufacturer Acerinox and Spain's second-largest bank BBVA that fell 3.20 percent and 3.17 percent respectively.

Electricity supplier R.E.C. advanced 2.68 percent, gas natural infrastructure company Enagas went up 1.74 percent and electricity company Endesa was up 1.08 percent. Enditem
