BEIRUT, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Wang Kejian has said that China is keen on boosting bilateral ties with Lebanon on all levels.

"We call upon Lebanese officials to specify the fields and projects where China and Lebanon can cooperate," Wang said during a reception held Tuesday at Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut in honor of Lebanese participating in workshops and training courses in China.

"We also call on Lebanese officials to benefit from the 15 U.S. billion dollars of loans offered by China to support the industry sector in the Middle East," he added.

"It has become a good habit to meet at the end of the year to discuss ways to bolster ties and look forward to the future," Wang said.

Wang stressed that his country "will continue to be a builder of peace and contributor to growth."

"This year marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up policy. This policy has not only changed China's profile, but also made outstanding contributions to global growth and human progress," he said.

"China calls for building a community of common destiny for mankind. It has presented ideas and solutions to global governance and human development. China's development achievements over the past 40 years have been admired and appreciated by all of you," Wang added.

He assured that China adheres to reform and opening-up more widely and deeply, and will work for the maintenance of an open global economy and the multilateral trading system.
