CHICAGO, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures traded mixed on Friday morning with soybeans falling further despite new purchase from China.

As of 1635 GMT, the most active January 2019 soybeans were down 2.75 cents at 9.0425 dollars per bushel. March wheat was down 3.75 cents at 5.3225 dollars per bushel. March corn was up 2.25 cents at 3.865 dollars per bushel.

Private exporters reported on Thursday to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) export sales of 1,130,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2018/2019 marketing year.

Despite the bullish news, profit-taking and "buy the rumor/sell the fact" mentality led to the fall of soybean prices, said market watchers. Enditem
