CHICAGO, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities traded higher on Friday morning, with soybeans rising rapidly on investors' short-covering after the futures closed at one-month low on Thursday.

As of 1540 GMT, the most active March soybeans were up 13.25 cents at 8.9575 dollars per bushel. March wheat was up 2.25 cents at 5.1275 dollars per bushel. March corn was up 2 cents at 3.765 dollars per bushel.

While there were reports that the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly export sales report would be delayed indefinitely due to the government shutdown, a note on the agency's website said it would be released Friday and was only delayed due to Christmas.

As for weather forecast for agricultural crop, winter weather conditions are expected to continue for much of South Dakota and parts of Minnesota and northern Wisconsin on Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Enditem
