FRANKFURT, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 28.27 points, or 0.26 percent, to close at 10,921.59 points.
European health care company Fresenius SE won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.01 percent. Multinational chemical firm Linde and energy group RWE rose by 1.65 percent and 1.43 percent respectively.
German airlines Lufthansa lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 3.32 percent. Material manufacturer Covestro and automotive supplier Continental went down by 2.63 percent and 2.38 percent respectively.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 186.1 million euros (214.6 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
