China's auto sales drop last year

BEIJING, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- China sold 28.08 million autos last year, down 2.76 percent year on year, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed Monday.

Passenger car sales dropped 4.1 percent from the previous year to 23.71 million units, while production fell 5.2 percent year on year to 23.53 million units, the association said.
