NAIROBI, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Hassan Oktay, the head coach of Kenyan football club Gor Mahia, says his team will seek to finish the job in the second leg of their 2018-19 CAF Confederations Cup play-off tie against New Star FC of Cameroon.

Despite his team winning the first leg 2-1 on Sunday, Oktay said his team are not satisfied with the result, and are looking to put the result beyond doubt in Sunday's return leg in Douala.

"We are not happy with the 2-1 win. We will attack more in Cameroon and they should be ready for a strong challenge," Oktay said on Monday in Nairobi.

New Stars coach Gerald Mbimi acknowledged that it will not be easy to defeat Gor Mahia, but noted that the away goal they scored was important to inspire his side to excel at home.

"They had many chances, but they never took advantage of them. Now, we will host them on Sunday and I hope my striking force will be strong enough to challenge for goals," he added.

In Sunday's first-leg tie, Lawrence Juma got on the end of a Francis Kahata cross to put Gor Mahia in front, a lead they held onto until halftime.

New Stars equalized after a corner kick was headed in by Benjamin Bechem after 72 minutes.

However, Jacques Tuyisenge rose high to head in an exquisite delivery by Shafik Batambuze to help Gor Mahia claim a 2-1 lead as they head to Cameroon.

The Kenyan champions will hope to defend their one-goal advantage when they play the second leg in Cameroon on Sunday, with the aggregate winner set to grace the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.
