ADDIS ABABA, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Thursday.

-- On behalf of the Government of Ethiopia, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has strongly condemned the senseless violent attacks committed on innocent civilians in Nairobi, Kenya.
