Hong Kong stocks close 1.25 pct higher

HONG KONG, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 335.18 points, or 1.25 percent, to 27,090.81 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 26,915.08 and 27,116.65. Turnover totaled 92.03 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 11.74 billion U.S. dollars).
