George, Westbrook combine 65 to life Thunder over Blazers

WASHINGTON, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Paul George had 36 points and Russell Westbrook added 29 as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Portland Trail Blazers 123-114 on Tuesday.

Steven Adams and Terrance Ferguson each added 14 points for the Thunder, which have won three straight and moved back into third place of Western Conference.

Damian Lillard scoerd 34 points and C.J. McCollum finished with 31 for Portland, which snapped a three-game winning streak.

The Thunder led almost all the game before McCollum's seventh 3-pointer with 5:07 left pulled Portland within 109-106. But Oklahoma City extended the lead to 117-108 with 2:17 left under George's hot mode to put the game beyond reach.
