DAMASCUS, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- A car bomb exploded on Tuesday in Syria's northern city of Manbij, a war monitor reported.
The bomb ripped through a military car near the Martyrs Cemetery in the city of Manbij, which is controlled by the Kurdish-led Manbij Military Council (MMC), said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The UK-based watchdog group said the MMC vehicle was the target of the explosion, which left the driver in a critical situation.
