CHICAGO, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures closed higher on Tuesday.

During the morning session, CBOT soybeans and grains fell moderately.

After the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) confirmed export sales of 2,603,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2018/2019 marketing year, the oil seed futures reversed the downturn and closed in the positive territory.

U.S. exporters also reported to USDA the sales of 274,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations.

It's the third consecutive session that soybean and grain futures ended with gains.

At the end of the session, the most active March soybeans were up 1.75 cents, or 0.19 percent, to close at 9.2025 dollars per bushel. Corn contract for March delivery was up 1.5 cents, or 0.4 percent to settle at 3.8075 dollars per bushel. March wheat was up 1.5 cents, or 0.29 percent, to close at 5.2725 dollars.
