SOFIA, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Bulgarian authorities have busted a six-member organized criminal group responsible for drug distribution in the country's capital city, the Ministry of Interior and national Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday.
The gang was arrested last Thursday in the Sofia district of Druzhba, the two law enforcement institutions said in a joint statement.
During the operation, the authorities searched 14 addresses and seized various quantities of drugs as well as an electronic scale, the statement said.
The evidence gathered so far indicated that the group has been acting since August 2017, and distributed mainly cocaine, amphetamines and marijuana, it said.
