FRANKFURT, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 43.26 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 11,324.72 points.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler fell 1.81 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by energy group E.ON and global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard, which lost 1.76 percent and 1.59 percent respectively.
Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies gained 2.72 percent, becoming the top gainer. Industrial giant Thyssenkrupp and Deutsche Bank advanced 2.45 percent and 1.24 percent respectively.
Daimler was the most traded share with a turnover of 321.9 million euros (366.9 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
