BEIRUT, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mahmoud Komati said Sunday that Lebanon decides to accept support from any country which is willing to help, including Iran, local media reported.

"The Lebanese government is ready to show positivity in solving people's issues. We should appreciate Iran's offer to help Lebanon without imposing any conditions," Komati was quoted as saying by Elnashra, an independent online newspaper.

Komati's remarks came during a press conference following his meeting with national political parties and Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif at the Iranian Embassy in Lebanon.

Zarif arrived in Lebanon on Sunday for a two-day official visit to meet with Lebanese officials and informed them about Iran's readiness to help Lebanon on all levels.

Zarif said that Iran is ready to provide all the needed help to the Lebanese Army if Lebanon is willing to accept this support.

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah declared few days ago that he is willing to ask Iran to provide the Lebanese Army with weapons, noting that Tehran can easily solve Lebanon's electricity problem and transform in Lebanon's pharmaceutical industry that would help slash the medical bill for citizens.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah lawmaker Nawaf Moussawi called upon the health minister who represents Hezbollah in the new government to be positive about the help offered by Iran in the medical field.
