LONDON, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.81 percent, or 57.70 points, to close at 7,190.84 points.
Smurfit Kappa Group, a leading corrugated packaging company, soared 6.97 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. DS Smith and Coca-Cola HBC increased by 4.46 percent and 3.10 percent, respectively.
TUI AG, a Germany-based integrated tourism group, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 6.31 percent. Ocado, an online grocer, dropped 2.53 percent. Tesco, a British multinational groceries and general merchandise retailer, fell 1.92 percent. Enditem
