MADRID, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares closed flat on Wednesday with the benchmark index Ibex-35 down 0.01 percent, or 0.70 points, to end at 8,982.40 points.
A total of 16 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the session.
Electricity company Naturgy lost 2.39 percent, Spain's second-largest bank BBVA went down 1.92 percent and electricity company R.E.C. was down 1.64 percent.
Steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal advanced 3.75 percent. Stainless steel manufacturer Acerinox rose 2.93 percent and Spain's fifth largest bank Banco Sabadell 2.16 percent. Enditem
