SINGAPORE, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going down 0.41 percent, or 13.42 points, to close at 3,239.74.
A total of 1.42 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.12 billion Singapore dollars (about 824.19 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 249 to 165.
The STI index went up 0.26 percent, or 8.39 points, to close at 3,253.16 Thursday. Enditem
