BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- China's major stocks indices closed higher on Wednesday, with the agricultural sector surging.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index went up 0.2 percent to finish at 2,761.22 points, while the Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.39 percent higher at 8,473.43 points.
