"The statement will also stress that the Israeli settlement is illegal according to United Nations Security Council's resolutions, mainly resolution 2334," al-Farra, who is participating in the Arab-European summit, told Xinhua.

The Palestinian diplomat added that the final statement will also support the two-state solution based in accordance with the international resolutions.

"About Jerusalem, the final statement will stress that no country or entity can change the status quo of the disputed city," al-Farra revealed.

More than 50 European and Arab countries participated in the two-day LAS-EU Summit, which kicked off on Sunday in Egypt's Sharm el-Sheikh city.
