BEIJING, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares closed higher at midday Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.94 percent to close at 3,082.87 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index went up 0.48 percent to 9,641.4 points at midday.
