MACAO, March 6 (Xinhua) -- A series of activities, organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), is to be held in Portuguese cities of Lisbon and Porto in mid-March to promote Macao's unique tourism and culture, the MGTO said on Wednesday.
The "Experience Macao-Portugal" promotion event, which is to be held during Lisbon Travel Market 2019 in mid-March, is to showcase Macao's rich tourist resources and culture, as this year marks the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland and the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), the MGTO said.
The event will kick off with the presentation of a video mapping show titled "Macao, a Legendary Journey" in Lisbon's major plaza, showcasing the Macao SAR's history, its links to Portugal, as well as its recent development. It also includes such activities as exhibitions, dances and gastronomy displays.
