Egypt's Zamalek tie with Algeria's NAHD to go through CAF quarter

ALGIERS, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Algeria's NA Hussein Dey on Sunday did not manage to secure a spot in the quarterfinal of the African Confederation Cup group stage after drawing home 0-0 against Egypt's Zamalek in the 6th round of Group 4.

The game was played on July 5 in Algiers, as the Egyptians returned home with a precious point that put them on top of Group D with nine points.

Zamalek went through to the quarterfinal of this African competition together with Kenya's Gor Mahia who also collected nine points after beating at home Petro Atletico of Angola 1-0, but the Egyptians have better goal difference.
